Description
Warrior, bowing forward. Humble warrior or Arrow Lunge. Note: Probably should be split into the crescent and the warrior variations. A low lunge with the torso folded forward and arms extended overhead or clasped behind the back, creating a bowed shape. Commonly used in standing sequences as a deep hip opener and preparatory pose for backbends or balancing postures. It is a variation of the lunge family, practiced on both sides, often following crescent lunge and preceding poses like warrior variations or standing splits.
